Psalm 128:5
The Lord shall
bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see
the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. |
Our principles and goal
(Isaiah:62,6-7)
Friends of Israel are as “watchmen
upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day or
night”... "till He establish, and till He make
Jerusalem a praise in the earth. "
The members, are individuals that believe in the message
of the Bible and the scriptural promises for all times.
The members see the independence of the state of Israel in
1948, as a part of the fulfilment of the Biblical promises.
The members believe in the power of prayer and encourage
priests and pastors in the various Icelandic Christian congregations to
remember the country and the nation of Israel in their blessings and prayer.
The fellowship will by all possible means support those that
wish to help the Jewish people to defend their country and
independence. Also to help in healing the wounds, that the country and
nation of Israel has suffered and may suffer in the future!
The members are opposed to any kind of racism anywhere and are
also against violence and terrorism wherever it comes from.
The members will try to use their influence, to enable
as many as possible, to visit the Holy land and participate in the feasts,
that are connected to the Bible, such as Pesach (Easter), Shavuot
(Pentecost), and Sukkoth (Feast of Tabernacles) .
The fellowship will assist young people that wish to work on a
kibbutz,
for a long or short term.
The fellowship will support education among Palestinian-arabs and
Jews.
To be a friend of Israel, does not
involve being against other people...
Shalom
